ECO-HYBRID EKBSR-1 Solar Aerator is a net zero energy cost, self-contained, and designed to operate 24 hrs/day based on a sunny days direct sun (required automotive type 12 volt batteries not included). Included 1.5 amp battery charger allows use of standard grid power = 60 watt solar array to top off or backup system when the sun refuses to shine. This unit is specifically designed to replace a 150-300 kw "paddle wheel" type aerators using four low profile 4x6' solar arrays and secured battery banks. Our 240 watt ECO-HYBRID EKBSR-1 can be operated 24/7 as a continuous HIGH EFFICIENCY low cfm oxygenator or it can be operated as a short term HIGH PERFORMANCE, high cfm oxygenator (8 one hour runs daily), just like aquaculture paddle wheels. A flip of a switch and you have the same performance as paddle wheels. In 2-3 meter ponds, even a higher oxygen transfer than 150-300 watt "paddle wheels." Designed to run as a HIGH PERFORMANCE, high cfm, net zero energy cost aerator for up to 8 hours day.
